The Day Trip Festival was the worst concert EVER. We left before he came on, never got to hear it. The place was so overwhelmingly packed with people you literally could not move, we purchased tickets. Surprised the fire marshall didn't disperse the crowd, they just kept letting them in. The show started extremely late, they postponed beginning until the place filled up more because people were late coming. Poor planning. Only saw the opening act at 1100 pm, who was not bad at all. The place has an amazing dance floor but they ruined the whole evening for us by opening it to standing only. What do you do when you have to stand with tons of people packed and can't even dance?! Costly trip to Indy, just to hear 'Hard to Love' on the radio on the way home. Horrible.
